Creamy consistency, very smooth and buttery. It takes a bit to sink into the skin, but the skin feels so good and nourished afterwards. I was worried that it might be too heavy for my sesitive combo skin, but its perfect for dry areas. I wouldn‘t apply it all over my face. A little goes a very long way. This also works as a stand-alone, you do not need a serum,essence or toner to feel hydrated with this product .
