It is absolutely gentle on my skin, effectively removing my sunscreen and light makeup after a day at work. It does not cause any skin irritation and my skin felt smooth after each usage. At the start, the gel cleanser will foam up a little during application. After the cleanser settle on the skin, it melts away the dirt and impurities, and the foam can no longer be seen. Proceed to wash it away after that. I have been using this cleanser for almost 2 months which explains the remaining amount left in the photo.
