The Bare Essentials Primer Water Ingredients is somewhere in the middle of hydrating toner, essence, and lotion. The cloudy, runny gel mimics dewdrops and is absorbed into the skin instantaneously with just a few pats and taps. I don’t bother using a cotton pad, so as not to waste product. There is a smooth, velvety feeling afterwards that lends to its primer feel. (Plus, it has soothing centella!) The scent is a frosted, slightly sweet green tea that doesn’t linger once fully absorbed.
