π€ A new HG serum to add to my routine π€
@biossance Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum
π¦ Texture: Light blue in colour, mid weight Serum, spreads well & doesn't take too long to sink in.
π¦ Fragrance: None added & none detected.
π¦ Main Ingredients & Claims:
β Squalane: provides ample hydration
β Mix of peptides: firming & promotes collagen production
β Ectoin: ** I think this is going to be the next BIG spotlight ingredient ** it's believed to be a multi-tasking amino acid from bacteria, providing hydration, slows down the degradation of enzymes in the skin, helps to repair skin damage & protect from external aggressors.
β Copper PCA: mild exfoliation & gives a beautiful natural blue pigment
β Panthenol: anti-inflammatory & hydration
β Green Tea Leaf Extract: antioxidant & balances sebum production.
β Turmeric: anti-inflammatory, antioxidants & brightening effects.
π¦ What I love about it:
β It's worth splurging on, it's pricey but a little goes a long way. I only need 3 small drops at night to experience plumped & hydrated skin the next day
β It makes my smile lines less prominent
β Adds moisture without tackiness, EOs & fragrance free. Safe on my hormonal chin
β Suitable for all skin types including sensitive unless your skin reacts to Copper PCA
β Derived from sugar canes & so the sharks are safe from squalane extraction π₯Ί
π¦ What I don't like about it:
β A glass bottle would be nice + a refillable option too.
β Not a bad thing but just something I've noticed. It's hydrating in the sense of plumped skin without tightness. But it doesn't give you that "moist" feeling that dry skin types love , especially in the colder months.
Maybe I'm not using enough of it but pairing this with another hydrating serum will do the trick!
π€ Overall, I love the ingredients list & how easy it is to use along with my other products. Will continue to use to see firming benefits from the peptides π₯°
