I received the Some By Mi antioxidant sunscreen spf50+ from Picky and Some By Mi, in exchange for my honest review.
The packaging design is bold in the colours black and white with a deep orange colour background. The sunscreen is contained in a plastic white bottle. The opening nozzle allows me to control how much product is sqeezed out which is great. The box the bottle fits in is soft like velvet to touch . It has a transparent orange plastic lid which clips over the opening to keep the product clean, dry and air tight. The bottle contains only 40ml of sunscreen. The packaging is good quality and eye catching.
The claims are that the suncream has ten kinds of vitamins, including hyaluronic acid. It's a weightless antioxidant liquid sunscreen with broad spectrum protection and high levels of vitamin complex that visibly brightens skin tone and minimizes signs of ageing and discolouration for even looking skin. The Instructions are to shake before use then apply generously and evenly as the last step in the skincare routine. The cautions are to avoid the eye area and store away from direct sunlight.
This is the first time I am trying this brand. The sunscreen is a runny, lightweight, white, thin cream that has the pleasant scent of oranges. At first It has a white cast however it blends in quicky and the white cast disappears. I found that the best way to apply this is to add a few drops in my moisteriser. This leaves a satin finish. After applying this, it instantly brightens my skin. This sunscreen has not caused any breakout or irritation to my combination sensitive skin. After ten days of use I have noticed my skin is slightly brighter over discoloured acne scars.
Thank you
