Ingredient:
▫️100% Jojoba Seed Oil
Chemically, Jojoba oil is actually a wax ester, which means that it's not the usual glycerin + 3 fatty acids combination rather fatty acid + fatty alcohol. This also means that it's very similar to human sebum. There's actually a theory that it might be able to trick the skin into thinking it has enough sebum, thus potentially skin balancing for people with oily skin.
Unlike most oils, jojoba oil (or should I say Jojoba wax ester🤪) is veeeeery stable, which means that it does not degrade as readily, therefore potentially minimizing the possibility for irritation.
THOUGHTS: I use this whenever I don't feel like using an oclussive moisturizer. I basically spread 3 drops of the oil into my palms and pat it all over my face and neck. I find it suffieciently moisturizing but also lightweight for my combination-oily skin. I also love this as a massage oil! I follow a guide video in youtube from a lovely lady of the channel GadgetLily (highly recommend checking it out). I am a bit more generous with this as a massage oil, but I don't mind considering how therapeutic facial massages are!! Overall, I've been thoroughly enjoying this oil. I can see people with normal, dry, and oily skin liking this one.
