My daughter calls it the “Princess Sunscreen”, I call it the first pink-toned “tone-up” cream I like (with the benefit of SPF50+ and PA++++) that can be used on its own or as a primer for foundation…
🪩😎And yes, it says “Glow” on the tube… yes, it has shimmer in it… but no, you really don’t end up looking like a disco ball (shimmery body lotion that I haven’t used since last year, I’m looking at YOU!). To prove this and the fact that it layers well without balling up/pilling, I applied two layers (see above)…
💖🌸the pink in this cream is made more agreeable with yellow undertones by mixing it with beige, so yes, there’s a tone-up effect, but in a good way… -it doesn’t look like white cast or makes me look sick. So yay! It works for my neutral to yellow face.
🍒🍑It contains lovely antioxidant ingredients that fit the pink princess vibes and sound like a dessert: pomegranate, cherry, peach kombucha. Plus 7,500ppm Panthenol which are soothing and plumping up my skin with hydration. -Our wrinkles are getting the sweet treatment I guess…
😶🌫️🤡 And under make up? It looks good on its own, but even though it has an iridescent sheen to it, the cream dries down to a blurred satin finish, not greasy at all. That surely is a good canvas for make up application. I can’t say that it lasts longer or anything magical happens, but it certainly doesn’t break it up (which can happen with more emollient sunscreens). Plus, the iridescent sheen is subtle enough that it works under both matte and glowier foundations/ BBs/ CCs/ whatever makes you feel pretty.
So…-who wants to look like a princess? Multitasking sunscreen? Anyone?
-Yeah, I thought so. Ask your fave candy shop / skincare retailer for it… cause I’m keeping mine!
Not a single thing. No pilling, no eye stinging, it layers well, I like the finish… just love! 💕
