▫️ Bakuchiol: lauded as a plant-based version of retinol with similar benefits that those with sensitive skin can use with little to no side effects
This serum touts a triple retinol synergy that targets wrinkles, pores, elasticity, and skin tone. This opaque milky-colored serum is super lightweight, spreads easily, and absorbs quickly into the skin. Heads up as this serum does have fragrance. The scent was light and dissipated quickly but would avoid it if you're sensitive.
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and can say it helped with skin texture and pores. I can’t say much for wrinkles as it’s not something I actively track. But my face is smoother and brighter thanks to the encouraged exfoliation process. I did experience minor irritation at the start of using this, which is not unusual when using retinol products.
Overall, a good retinol serum to try but not “gotta have it” for me.
