- This serum has truly been a lovely vitamin C experience as it did not have the usual vitamin C smell that kind of smells like hot dogs. This serum has a nice citrus smell that does not linger for long and makes the application easier. I loved the new air tight packaging to keep the Vitamin C from oxidizing. The previous dear, Klairs serum oxidized really quick for me so this has been a lovely change. The serum is very lightweight and absorbs quickly. It basically melts into the skin. I have loved how it doesn’t leave my skin greasy or tacky feeling. The serum quickly melts into you skin and as for someone with acne prone skin this is amazing.
It did not irritate my skin like other serums and paired well with other products. So far I do see my skin appear brighter and glowy and some of my hyperpigmentation has begun to fade. Very excited to keep on using this serum its become my go to Vitamin C serum. Since it is gentle give it time to show results! So far this gentle formulation has worked well with my acne prone skin skins brighter and not clogged definitely a new HG serum .
