Lancome - Mandie73w review for Teint Idole Ultra 24H Long Wear Foundation

This 𝑇𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝐼𝑑𝑜𝑙𝑒 𝑈𝑙𝑡𝑟𝑎 𝑊𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝐹𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 is housed in an elegant frosted glass bottle with black plastic lid which is finished with a gold coloured metal plate embossed with the iconic Lancôme rose fixed to the top which really adds to the overall aesthetic appeal. The bottle is fitted with a pump dispenser which I felt provides the perfect amount of product. The gold and black outer carton looks very luxe and displays full details about the product. The foundation has a beautiful delicate fragrance which becomes barely noticeable shortly after application. I used a damp beauty sponge to apply one pump of foundation to my moisturised/primed skin and was absolutely delighted at how quickly and easily it blended to provide an even base which looked flawless. It sets quickly to become transfer proof (no need for setting powder) and did not emphasise my enlarged pores or settle into my fine lines, nor did not oxidise so the colour stays true. Although it has a matte finish, there was a 'lit from within radiance' provided by the glow primer I had used which I thought looked wonderful - that said, the foundation looks just as lovely using a regular primer. The foundation felt incredibly lightweight and comfortable to the point I even forgot I was wearing makeup. Thanks to it's 81% skincare serum formula featuring the skin loving ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Moringa Oil, my mature, combination skin (normal to dry with oil prone T-zone) remained perfectly hydrated so definitely no cake face for me! What really impressed me was how the foundation looked freshly applied throughout my 16 hours wear time test, even my oil prone T-zone and foundation eating munchy lines on my forehead were no match for this product, safe to say, the longevity is outstanding! The shade 115C is the perfect match for my very fair, cool toned skin and I really appreciate that Lancôme thoughtfully provides a virtual try on tool via their website which is very useful to help take the guesswork out of choosing the correct shade.
