Theramid - Clinical Vitamin A

product review positives
Key ingredients: - 5% Granactive Retinoid - 0.3% Retinol - 0.1% Retinal This is a very powerful retinol serum for experienced retinol users. It has 3 types of retinoids to give maximum results. It also contains other skin loving ingredients like Ceramide NP, Vitamin E, Probiotics and Plankton Extract. Texture is creamy, almost like a lightweight moisturizer. This product is vegan and fragrance free. ✨My experience: I have used retinol as part of my night routine for the past 3 years, so I decided to switch to something stronger. In the past I have used 0.02% Retinal and 0.3% Retinol and I think transition to this serum was too fast. It didn't irritate my skin, but I experienced some purging and dryness. So I started slowly, using it 3 times per week and doing the sandwich method. And I think this works great for my skin. So if you used weak retinoids in the past, start slowly with this one. I like the packaging and creamy texture, however I wish the formula was more hydrating. Not sure how to describe this correctly, but serum feels almost dry. This is basic formula and it does the job, but I wish there was something extra in it. It has been almost 4 months since I opened this and I can see some good results. My skin texture is better, it looks smooth and some fine lines are reduced. I love to pair this with Retinol eye cream from the same brand and they both do a good job at anti-ageing. This is not too expensive. It retails for 35 € and I got this on sale. PAO for this product is 12 months, but Retinoids can be unstable and they become less effective 6 months after opening the product. There is no way to know that for sure without doing the testing in the lab. Overall this is a good strong retinol product for advanced users and I recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a higher percentage.
