My experience:
I always had trouble with aloe gels in the past that I thought it is just not right for my skin but as I got into skincare more and I got to know more about my own skin, I realized it was not because of the aloe itself but because all the aloe gels I have tried before have an alcohol ingredient on it. When I found that Isntree have an alcohol-free aloe gel, I was excited to try it out. When I first applied it on my skin, it was refreshing, soothing and light on my face. I was like “Hallelujah! Finally! I had an aloe gel in my skincare stash.”. The only problem I had was because aloe gels are not supposed to be moisturizers, I had a hard time on finishing it. I would only apply it when my skin is super irritated, heated, and/or sensitive. When the PAO passed, I was regretting that it was such a waste and I don’t want to throw away it just yet so I decided to just apply it on my body. I was surprised that even though it is super lightweight, it moisturizes my body so well and it would even dry down faster that my lotions.
Recommend for:
All skin types especially for dehydrated skin
Will I repurchase?
Maybe, I’ll try other brands first.
