💬If you've followed for a while you know how a I feel about anything "scrubby". My mind immediately goes to the apricot nightmare. BUT every now and then it does feel nice to get that physical exfoliation. Especially in something gentle like a cleanser.
That said, when I first squeezed the tube and saw the texture I was NERVOUS. I thought I finally met a Round Lab product I was going to hate. BUT, its lovely, y'all. When you add water and foam it up, the scrubby bits are miniscule & don't feel all stabby. Would I prefer the cleanser without them? Probably, but they do me no harm and really help smooth my skin out.
This is a cleanser I'll reach for once or twice a week when my skin feels congested from all the sunscreen & sweat. I love that it has ceramides, a low PH, and doesn't have that tugging feeling when rinsing it away.
In all of my cleanser snobbery, I have to say this is a really nice one & will last a long time. Will I buy it again? Probably not. I really love the Dokdo one and plan on trying the Mugwort one next, so this will definitely stay in my routine until I finish it, but the Dokdo cleanser reigns supreme for me.
