This multifunctional toner aiming to brighten and cleanse dull skin is formulated with 10% licorice root water and various botanical ingredients such as peony, cimicifuga and arrowroot extract. This hydrating toner can be used as a leave-in cleanser for those who need a low ph cleanser due to sensitive skin, those who want to cleanse at once without washing the water and those who are looking for a moisturizing cleanser.
I personally used this toner after my usual cleanser without using a cotton pad, just like how I would use a normal hydrating toner. I didn’t get any crazy effect at first (except for a dewy effect) but after a day, my skin felt very smooth and moisturized. As for the brightening effect, I did notice my face to have a slight brighter look.
