I received this product for free from Picky and The Skin House in exchange for my honest review. Thank you picky for this opportunity!
I recently introduced The Skin House Wrinkle Supreme Cream into my nighttime skincare routine, and I have to say, it has left quite an impression on me. This cream, part of the same line as the serum I previously tried, aims to tackle wrinkles and fine lines with its key ingredients like ginseng, mushroom, and pomegranate extracts. Let me share my personal experience and thoughts on what I loved and what I think could be improved:
First and foremost, I was thrilled to find that the scent of this cream is significantly less overwhelming compared to the serum in the same line. It has a more subtle fragrance that made the application a more enjoyable experience for me.
The texture of this cream is simply nice. It has a balm-like consistency that feels good on my skin. It's perfect for my evening skincare ritual, as it provides deep nourishment and hydration while I sleep.
Affordability is another aspect that impressed me. Just like the serum, this cream comes in a generous 50ml size at an affordable price. I appreciate that I get a good amount of cream that will last me some time, making it a budget-friendly choice.
👉One thing I noticed is that this cream feels a bit too heavy for daytime use. It takes some time to fully absorb into my skin, which can leave a slightly greasy feeling. As a result, I prefer to reserve it exclusively for nighttime application.
👉I also found that this cream doesn't perform as well under makeup. It tends to interfere with the application and longevity of foundation and other makeup products. Therefore, I would suggest using a different moisturizer during the day if you regularly wear makeup.
👉Lastly, while it's not a deal-breaker, I wish the cream came with a spatula for more hygienic application. It would have been a convenient addition to the packaging.
To sum it up, The Skin House Wrinkle Supreme Cream has proven itself to be a promising solution for reducing the appearance of wrinkles. The less overpowering scent, lightweight texture, perfect suitability for nighttime use, and affordable price make it a standout choice.
Not suitable for daytime use: The cream feels a bit too heavy for daytime wear. It takes some time to fully absorb into the skin and can leave a slightly greasy feeling. It's best reserved for nighttime application.
Not ideal under makeup: When used under makeup, the cream tends to interfere with the application and longevity of foundation and other products. It may not be the best option if you regularly wear makeup.
Lack of included spatula: While not a major issue, it would have been convenient if the cream came with a spatula for more hygienic application. It's a small detail that could enhance the overall experience.
