- Parsol SLX
- Mexoryl SX
- Titanium Dioxide
This is sweat resistant hybrid sunscreen formulated with Titanium Dioxide and 5 chemical UV filters.
It contains several soothing ingredients like Green Tea, Bamboo water, Panthenol and Ectoin. Some other ingredients are Hyaluronic Acid, Algae Extract and several other plant extracts.
There is no drying alcohol or fragrance.
Texture is like a lightweight lotion with a glowy finish. It's not greasy, it absorbs fast and there is no white cast on my skin. Although this contains several plant extracts I don't smell anything.
It could leave a white cast on darker skin tones!
My experience:
I love this sunscreen, but there is one thing I dislike.
I love the texture and I don't mind the glowy finish. It's easy to blend and it doesn't feel greasy on my combination skin type.
However, it pills on me. This is my concern because this is sweat resistant sunscreen and I expect it to stay in place for a while. I tested this on a very hot day, I went for a 10 minute walk and I came back home sweaty. After I touched my skin I felt some balling up. I didn't use any heavy skincare before this sunscreen. I mostly had this issue with western sunscreens, never Korean. I read several other reviews and many people are complaining about the same issue.
I can't find information for how long this should be sweat resistant. It was tested in the lab for sweat, so I guess it works. But if you experience piling like me I wouldn't recommend this for hot days and outdoor activities. Also, I can't find PAO, so be careful and use it up within 6 month after opening.
But overall, this is a very nice sunscreen to use. I would recommend this for all skin types, including sensitive skin. I won't use this in summer, but it will be nice for colder weather to avoid this pilling issue.
