Been a user of their retinol since its launch in 2021
I've had a very bad relationship with my acne in and out, and I stumbled upon them when they were starting their roots and I was having a problem with my skin at the time.
Their retinol and niacinamide are always my go-to combination ever since,
Retinol having
🌸Licorice Extract
🌸Lactobacillus Ferment (which my skin adores)
🌸Avena Sativa (Oat)
Besides the anti-aging benefits of retinol it's also a well-known skincare hero in fighting acne.
I've also upgraded my acne-fighting routine having Benzoyl Peroxide as my spot treatment in AM Routine and incorporating it at nights where I don't use retinol (retinol and benzoyl peroxide cancels each other so you can't use them in the same routine)
📝Reflection
I've had to really change my perspective of acne as I still get them every now and then, more so now that I have hormonal acne (I'm on the pill) and that I am commuting as well, so it cannot be helped, the good thing about this experience is that I now have more knowledge on how to handle my acne better than I did years ago, they come and go and I just have to be really consistent and believe in the products I consistenly use..I wish I have the attitude I now possess when I was younger, was more insecure, and was very self-aware of how bad a state my skin was..
