PURITO - annaya review for [Discontinued] Snail Repair Advanced Serum

At first, when i switched from the Iunik’s serum to this one, i wasn’t overly impressed. Yes, it was just fine, but it didn’t leave my skin as soft as the other one did. However, with time, it has grown on me. As you can see from the 5⭐️ rating, it has grown on me A LOT. There is nothing better in this world than a serum in a pump packaging. As much as dropper bottles look “cool” and “fun” and “sciency”, they are a pain to operate, especially in the middle of a routine when you have wet hands and you can’t get a good grip on the cap. Big props for the packaging as i love the ease of use. The serum is a gelly type serum that is on the more viscous side. Not really surprising, since it is a snail serum 😉 i usually put it on last, right before my moisturizer and after all my other serums. It’s very hydrating and moisturizing. It makes me feel like it covers the other products in the moisturizing layer and lets them sink in. Once i even forgot to take a moisturizer with me when i stayed somewhere overnight and it was my final step - it worked really well. I wouldn’t switch my moisturizer for it permanently and i doubt this trick would work for a person with dry skin, but as a one time thing, it was a great solution for me. The serum doesn’t have any colour or smell. It doesn’t leave your skin instantly soft, but it works in the long run and you can see the improvement after a few weeks of use. When it comes to instant effects, aside from hydrating and moisturizing, it soothes the skin. It feels nice and cool and it’s great to use it when you have irritated skin or a broken skin barrier. It’s also great when paired up with harsh actives, like acids or retinoids. 💙
