It contains new generation filters- Uvinul A Plus, Uvinul T 150, Tinosorb M and Iscotrizinol and has niacinamide, glycerine, chamomile, broccoli, eggplant and aloe extracts, etc. in addition to the MLE (Multi Lamelllar Emulsion) technology which mimics the lamellar structure of the skin and provides barrier protection. It does contain spearmint, lavender and chamomile oils, and linalool as the last ingredient in the list.
It has mild minty scent which resembles toothpaste but is really mild so I got used to it fairly quickly. Designed for dry and sensitive skin, it gives a cooling effect upon application. The finish is moisturizing and dewy, and leaves no white caste. Absorbs nicely and applies effortlessly.
With SPF 50 and high protection (+++), it can also be used on body and I can rely on this sunscreen for outdoor activities. Overall, I’m enjoying this sunscreen and would recommend for dry and combination skin but I can’t speak for sensitive skin as it has essential oils.
Stings my eyes if used close to the eye area but then it’s the same for most other chemical sunscreens so can’t really blame it alone. It’s sad that the most comfortable sunscreens too are not eye-safe, which is ironical because fine lines first appear in and around the delicate eye skin that needs protection too.
