🌞PRODUCT AND SIZING: Black Rice Pure Mineral Relief Daily Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin SPF 50+ PA++++, 50 ml.
🎁PRESENTATION: It comes in a plastic tube with an airless pump and a cover for the pump.
💦STAR INGREDIENTS: The Mineral one contains rice bran oil and extract, niacinamide, houttuynia cordata extract, and daisy flower extract. The ingredient list (small and white fonts) is very hard to read on the boxes.
🌺TEXTURE and SCENT: The creamy Mineral sunscreen does not have any detectable scent. It is unscented (many Haruharu products I have tried are unscented).
👨🦱 MY THOUGHTS: The Mineral sunscreen is cruelty-free, vegan, and scent-free. The Mineral sunscreen feels hydrating enough for my combination skin and its finish is a matte finish, although i suspect dry skin may need more hydration. As one would expect from non-nano zinc oxide physical sunscreen, it does leave a white cast, although not prominent. I am reading about sunscreen and ocean’s coral reefs today (https://www.nps.gov/puho/learn/nature/protectyourselfprotectthereef.htm). Because sunscreen I wash off at home can still make it to the ocean, I will try to use more safe sunscreens with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide going forward.
I think messaging in well and leaving it on for a couple of hours sometimes help with a white cast.
👐 PAIRING: I used this with various products, including Barr calming toner, essence, and cream.
Others may have different experiences based on skin types, products they use, environmental conditions, etc.
