As someone who is open minded when it comes to skincare, I thought I would give Restore & Protect Face Oil by Gleamin a try, especially since they had a deal. Plus, I have my fair share of issues when it comes to products that would give me an overall glow (without my oily T-zone stands out in the mornings while my cheeks look dull) besides brightening which I had yet to find a nightly moisturizer for combination acne-prone skin (their moisturizer was okay based on brightening, but it doesn't gave me an overall glow). But that's another story for another day.
The packaging is very lovely and yellowy (a made up word by me for Gleamin 😂). The bottles are very cute and chubby which warms my heart. The dropper is controllable which is great. I caught myself sometimes used between 5 - 7 drops on my bare face, some other times 3 - 4 drops on my face absorbed with essence and serums. Despite those methods, I really enjoy how it feels on my face (it's baby smooooove). Beautiful glow, especially when I wake up, like it balances my combination face out so the oil sebum is more even.
It also strengthens and restores the skin besides brightening. It contains very cool ingredients like Turmeric, Jojoba, Peptides, Cloudberry Seed, Micro & Marine Algae, and many more.
Thank goodness I have few more bottles because it's worth it for me. Plus, I already have someone in mind to give one of the bottles away as a gift for the holidays to show my appreciation...or maybe not. Maybe I will keep the rest and buy her one (she deals with dry acne-prone face, by the way) because it's too good. 💜
This may be not suitable for those who deal with oily skin types. Also, Turmeric is one of the ingredients in this face oil so the scent may be a little off-putting for some people. Whenever I applied it on my face, I could smell it (which doesn't bother me since I used Turmeric in my food and I am used to the scent along with being in some of my skincare products). But the scent goes away once you massage the face oil onto the skin.
