I randomly picked this product from the drugstore shelf when I first started learning about skincare, so I didn't know anything about it beforehand. It ended up working surprisingly well, however.
Within weeks of using it, for the first time in years, my mildly severe acne (and I cannot stress this enough) lessened. Salicylic acid saved my life.
I started using several actives at the same time, so I can't say that this product alone fixed my breakouts. For me, it worked in combination with a glycolic acid toner.
At the same time, my skin seems to be resilient, as my skin barrier is just fine after using actives on the harsher side everyday (thankfully, I don't do that anymore), so I don't know how more sensitive skin types might react to this cleanser.
And lastly, the pure foam texture was new to me, and I'm left wondering if I used it to its full potential, if I massaged it enough in my skin etc.
I listed these cons just in case, they didn't affect my usage of this product.
