Sulfur Soap

product review positives
I've been using Dr. S. Wong's Sulfur Soap for a while now, and there are definitely some things to like about it. Firstly, it's fantastic for tackling acne. I've noticed a some improvement in my skin's condition since I started using it. Another major plus is its availability – you can find it pretty much anywhere here in the Philippines, from Watson's to supermarkets and even convenience stores. Plus, it's incredibly affordable (₱48.00 - ₱70.00), making it accessible to a wide range of people. Lastly, it lathers up easily, so it's simple to apply and use in my daily routine. Ingredient List: 🌼Sulfur: Known for its acne-fighting properties, sulfur can effectively reduce acne breakouts and control oil production. 🌼Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract: Aloe vera is soothing and can help alleviate some of the dryness and discomfort caused by sulfur. 🌼Sodium Lactate: This ingredient may contribute to the soap's lathering ability but may not provide significant skincare benefits. 🌼Soap Base
product review negatives
However, there are some downsides to Dr. S. Wong's Sulfur Soap that I can't ignore. The biggest issue for me is how drying it is on the skin. After I finish cleansing my face with this soap, my skin feels super dry, almost uncomfortably so. Sometimes, it even leaves my skin feeling itchy, which can be quite irritating. To combat this, I would strongly recommend applying a moisturizer immediately after using the soap to help alleviate the dryness. In summary, Dr. S. Wong's Sulfur Soap is an effective and readily available option for acne treatment in the Philippines, but its extreme drying effect on the skin and occasional itchiness can be a drawback. If you decide to try it, make sure to follow up with a good moisturizer to keep your skin feeling comfortable.
