This anti-ageing repair night cream aims to regenerate multiple layers of the skin whilst providing nourishment and hydration. Just like the rest of Hada Labo Tokyo’s anti-ageing range, this cream contains a blend of 3 hyaluronic acids creating their own unique ‘super hyaluronic acid’ formula. It also contains Tetra-peptide-5 which is known to combat wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots and contains collagen which improves skin elasticity, reduce visible wrinkles, and increase blood flow to the skin.
On first glance, I really liked the packaging. The heavy, blue jar with a silver lid gives it that premium feel.
The cream itself has a rich, creamy gel-like texture so doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy or oily like some rich night creams do. This is a huge plus for me as I have oily skin.
I used this alongside the super hydrating lotion applying generously to the face and neck. It did not irritate the eyes whatsoever which was a relief as this can be a pain-point for me when using night creams.
This product is fragrance-free which is my preference. Unlike the rest of the range this night cream doesn’t contain retinol so it is suitable even for those with sensitive skin.
