REMOVES WATERPROOF MASCARA without making me hurt my eyelids. My favorite waterproof mascara from Heroine Make (!) is practically bulletproof, yet is almost as easy to remove as a regular mascara with this balm
Clinique states “over 95% removal of face makeup, sunscreen, and pollutants.*”, is proven, and I agree
- If I used heavier makeup, it felt like I had to use more product to emulsify the makeup and the oils the face powder had trapped
- yet with lighter makeup, my face felt fully cleansed even if I used less balm
HOWEVER, you may want to use a regular face cleanser afterwards to get rid of the cleansing balm residue
- Clinique claims that the product is Ophthalmologist tested, yet when used in the eye area can irritate and heavily BLURS the vision for more than a minute
- ≈38$ per 125ml, pricey even for a solid effective product, it feels like there are good alternatives in the lower price range
Conclusion: happy with the product, yet unsure wherever or not will purchase again. It’s a nice cleanser with a nice formula, I recommend to try it out
