I'm such a big lover of Ruruberry! What's more surprising is that it's a local brand with highly effective products! From Malaysia! When I first got to know about Ruruberry, girl, I can tell you I was dumbfounded. Because Korean products were always all the rage and local skincare products from Malaysia were known to be not good. In fact, many local consumers tended to avoid their local made products because of the ineffectiveness and uncertified tests. No one knew if it was safe for sensitive skin people, whether it was effective or if the ingredients were safe. Fast forward to many years later, Malaysia's skincare industry improved by leaps and bounds, making many skincare products more popular and well-loved by users at home and abroad. This is a great achievement which I'm very proud of. Two months ago, I received the Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide+ HA. Having tried a few of their products before, I can attest that they lived up to my expectations. So, I was very expectant with this serum. 💧About Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + HA Serum: A lightweight, power-packed serum that combats dark spots, minimises congested, enlarged pores, reduces inflammatory acne and free radicals with precision. Its key ingredients which are Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid are what make this serum amazing! You guys already know that these are potent ingredients with amazing effects and there's no doubt they're my favourites too! This serum is also free of bad ingredients, vegan and cruelty-free. 💧Key Ingredients: Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) [10%]👉Used for brightening and fading PIH (Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation). Hyaluronic Acid👉A very effective ingredient that makes skin plump and hydrated. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)👉A gentle form of Vitamin C which works as an antioxidant to protect and improve the skin's defense barrier. Panthenol (Vitamin B5)👉Supports skin's moisture barrier. 💧Texture: The liquid looks yellowish but it's actually colourless when applied on the skin. It has a lightweight, gel texture that is soothing in the first application and gives skin an immediate boost of hydration. It absorbs well and doesn't leave any tacky finish either. 💧 Packaging: The serum is housed in a small, sturdy plastic translucent bottle with a glass pipette. I like how the dropper has a soft head which allows me to control how much serum I want to take. However, the head is made of rubber and from my personal experience, rubber-typed dropper heads tend to get sticky and will have dirt eventually sticking all over them. Overall, the bottle has a minimalist design and doesn't look eye-catching either but that's okay, and instructions are found on the back. Travel-wise, I find this bottle cute! Moving on to its box, it looks very high end, has a nice combo of black and white colours that gives a look of seriousness, essential info printed on its sides and on its opening flaps is the brand's tagline: Rudiment, Progress and Perfection. 💧Scent: It is scentless. 💧Who is Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + HA Serum for? This Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + HA Serum definitely packs a punch and as per its description which claims to brighten dull and uneven skin tone, minimise enlarged pores and hydrate skin, I knew at once that I had all those skin issues I was looking forward to addressing. For several weeks, twice per day, I used an adequate amount of the serum and gradually, I could see significant lightening of my acne scars. My skin also felt more hydrated and nourished, and my overall complexion looked glowy. Even after the next day when I washed my face with water and didn't apply the serum, my skin was still looking radiant, supple and hydrated. However, one should note that for darker pigmentations and old acne marks, the lightening process takes longer but I trust this serum. After all, it did do a great job. All in all, the Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + HA Serum is a power-packed serum that aims to lighten and hydrate skin. Combining the best of Niacinamide and Hyaluronic acid, there's no doubt that it delivers the effects with efficiency. It's not an all-hyped serum but one that truly delivers the results as per its description. I haven't experienced anything negative with it up to this moment and will restock once I empty this one. This Ruruberry 10% Niacinamide + HA Serum is getting a 5/5 star rating because Ruruberry always never fail to live up to my expectations. If you have acne marks and light pigmentations coupled with dry skin, this serum is your go-to for better skin.
