This thin, orange coloured eye cream immediately soaks into the skin and gives it a boost of brightening vitamin c, with a shimmer of mica.
This absorbed with barely a single swipe and didn't irritate my eyes as I feared it would after looking at the ingredients. The shimmer of mica in the formula disguises dark circles and offers a quick brightening effect. The collagen and oils in the formula hydrate the skin and smooth fine lines.
Cost: $52 CAD per 0.5oz
All the brightening effects I saw were a result of the mica and not so much the actives in it. It's great for a quick, temporary fix, but by the end of the day your dark circles return. After 4 weeks I didn't notice any permanent brightening.
Some of the ingredients like shea butter have potential to give some skin milia, and there are a lot of fragrant and sensitizing ingredients in it. It didn't smell too strong, but it could really bother anyone with problems with fragrances or essential oils.
It's quite expensive, and for mostly temporary or subtle effects I personally don't think the price matches the value.
