I received this from butter London in exchange for an honest review and wasn't sure I was going to like it. Ive been a professional makeup artist, esthetician and cosmetologist for over 20 years and I've never been a huge fan of cream shadows due to their lack of staying power, transfer and creasing. But as an esthetician I loved the idea of the benefits for the eye area built right into the makeup your wearing anyway. The eye area is always the number one biggest concern for aging women and for good reason, the skin is much thinner and we tend to rub, tug, itch, pull etc around the area constantly without even realizing we do it. I also love that it can be used as a primer or an actual Eyeshadow, I received the color Mauve Mist which is a very versatile great everyday color for any skin tone. I'm in my early 40s and starting to show some signs of aging and needing to change my typical every day products to one's that work better with my age vs what I wore for years. I was surprised just how much I really liked this shadow, it doesn't transfer at all, doesn't crease at all and is blendable with powder shadows. It looked really pretty wearing, complimented my skin type and shade and all while helping to fight aging more then I already am.
The only complaint I have is that it feels wet and a bit tacky on the lid for a little bit, however it doesn't transfer, smudge or crease even when still wet.
