I've been in the beauty industry for over 22 years now as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. I'm also a verified beauty expert for beautytap official where I receive products, makeup and tools from brands for my professional review. When Morphe first released it literally swept the beauty industry! EVERYONE was hearing about this new brand that was supposed to be just as great as MAC or Urban Decay or Too Faced etc but not nearly as pricey! Their Eyeshadow Palettes became the newest Rockstar to the makeup industry, I mean look at the size of the pallets for the price of them!! The the OG Jaclyn Hill pallet released and all I heard about was JH, Jaclyn, Jaclyn Hill this and that, so I checked out who this supposed "professional makeup artist" or "celebrity makeup artist" was.. And I was NOT impressed with Jaclyn Hill AT ALL! I thought her technique was awful, she annoyed me to watch her and couldn't believe how these "professional makeup artists" were storming my industry only because of social media, these artist had ZERO TRAINING, no idea what being a pro Mua is really like.. They just happened to apply their makeup in a way that was trendy at that particular time and girls went crazy over them. They were the "boy bands" of the makeup industry and it wasnt fair to those of us who actually put the time, training, effort and money into our profession! But someone bought me this pallet as a gift and I used it, I was actually really surprised with how much I loved it tbh. But then again Jaclyn didn't make it, morphe and their chemists did, she just approved it and chose the colors she wanted. This is a great palette for anyone, it has every shade you'd need on pretty much any client, skin type, and event you'd need it for. From glam to natural, formal or no-makeup looks. If you could only have one Pallete I would recommend this one in my list of possibilities.
