It's a nice multi benefit mask with a slight cooling sensation on the skin while you wait the 4-10 minutes before removing the mask. I find the easiest way to remove Clay Masks is sometimes with the help of a foreo facial brush as some Clay can be a bit stubborn, this mask is no exception, you can certainly remove with only warm water but it takes a bit longer and in the morning we don't always have extra time (especially after indulging in a mask). It has a slight Brightening effect after removal which is a great quality to have if you're looking for a mask to use in the morning or day time to prep before makeup application. It makes for longer makeup wear time for myself as I have fairly oily skin. For detox though I have yet to see any evidence or results that it has that effect but it's still a nice mask for tone self care/pampering.

PSA- do not switch from an unsaved picky review to your phones camera app! You will lose your progress on iPhone lol I learnt that the hard way.
As mentioned above I'm not sure how much detox effect it has for drawing impurities out but it certainly does help with excess oil.
I received this in my ipsy iconbox, it retails at $45/1.7 Oz.
When this bottle runs out, I may opt to try Glamglow Supermud clearing treatment for its clarifying effects (if I have the extra money, Glamglow is a bit more money) as opposed to replacing this. That said though this mask is consistent and pretty irritation proof. If I needed a safe mask for use before a big event I'd absolutely go with this one. Last thing any of us want is to end up with irritation, breakouts, or something from using a mask or treatment right before that event we used the treatment for.
