This is my first low Ph cleanser and I've read low Ph products are great for skin as they make your skin inhospitable for bacteria. This cleanser is gel like and smells sooo good. It's very gentle and doesn't strip the skin of natural oils but is hydrating. It's gentle but cleans up any dirt or grime. I wouldn't use it alone if i have makeup on. It lathers well, but is not foamy. Leaves the skin soft and hydrated.
