First off, I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE TO TRY ANY & ALL EYE PRODUCTS, especially the ones with convenient, take along features, such as these hydrating eye balm sticks! They're fantastic to throw in your bag & go! I've been using these several times a day & they're ALWAYS in my purse! For being almost 45, my eyes haven't started to give me any major problems, yet, but I've been using eye care products for a long time now, since the 90's actually!
And, how adorable & cute are these little polar bear sticks! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the packaging & I'm such a sucker for cute packaging too! I ALSO thought that the actual name of this brand is super cute too, as in Korean, "The Saem" means "The Seed"! So, I received 2 eye sticks, one blue-that cools & hydrates & one pink-infused with collagen:
(1) Blue Eye Stick-ICELAND HYDRATING EYE STICK-has an aquatic, fresh smell that is VERY heavy! I actually thought they both smelled great, but fragrance added to eye products aren't the best & I usually go for fragrance free products, but I've been reading ALL about these ALL over the place, with very mixed reviews & so I wanted to check them out for myself! The stick balm is refreshing & cooling & did moisturize my undereye area & caused me absolutely NO irritation! I find that heating the stick up, by rubbing it in on the back of the hand, makes it go on smoother & by the time I go to pat it in, it's ALREADY absorbed into my undereye area! This product absorbed VERY well for me! The ingredients aren't the best either, but they haven't bothered me or given me any problems whatsoever! It's also Infused with Icelandic Glacial Water that happens to be millions of years old! This Glacier Water is SO good for the skin as it has MANY beneficial properties & minerals in the water that's phenomenal for the skin! Overall, I give this a 3/5! Yes, cute packaging, but also the ingredients used aren't too good for the undereye area!
(2) Pink Eye Stick-ICELAND HYDRATING COLLAGEN EYE STICK-again, VERY heavily fragranced, in a rose scent & is infused with collagen! This one, out of the 2, is my favorite! I absolutely LOVE collagen infused products! As with the other one, this also absorbs VERY quickly! I did notice a slight improvement on my eyes with THIS one, but again, overall, I'd give this a 3/5 too! This one ALSO has a VERY low score regarding the ingredients used! But this one, like the other, did NOT bother me at all! And, as with the other one, I wish it had MORE product in it too!
Both are available on Amazon for only $10 each...
Now, would I purchase these on my own, NO!!!!
