Hello all!
The product I'm going to introduce today is the Symwhite 377 Dark Spot Serum from @skintificofficial✨
As the name suggest, this serum contains a few of good ingredients like Niacinamide and Tranexamic Acid that can help to reduce melanin production, protect against free radical damage and minimise our dark spots. This serum also using a SymWhite 377 (INCI: Phenylethyl Resorcinol), an ingredient that is inspired from pinosylvin, a natural skin brightening compound occurring in pine.
This niacinamide based serum has a thin, runny texture with low viscosity. It's moist, but flows in a row almost like a water and for me, it feels more hydrating than their 10% Niacinamide Brightening Serum. Whenever I apply this Symwhite 377 serum, it gives me a slightly moist glow and in dry weather like these days, I need to pay more attention to moisturise the inside of my skin, so it is a perfect product for an oily skin type like me 😀
There is no fragrance here and the cosmetic scent is very mild and dissipates quickly. Moreover, I really love its texture, it feels more comfortable on the skin as it doesn’t pill, ball up, no soapy or no foamy like certain niacinamide serum. This serum also beneficial for our pore as I notice my skin feels nicer to touch and becomes smoother with less tiny bumps ✨
While I end up really appreciating hydrating and dewy this serum makes my skin look after application, it doesn't really provide much in the way of hyperpigmentation reduction. The brightening effect that it provides seem a bit short lived. Meaning I doesn’t see a noticeable improvement after using it for only about 2-3 weeks, so I'll need to use it longer to see the brightening effect of this serum.
