When I started my retinol journey, I used the sandwich method to prevent dryness the last time I used Olay Retinol24 serum, which has an undetermined percentage of retinol and retinaldehyde. Then, I switched to Holo Retinol moisturiser that has 0.2% retinol content, is extremely gentle and moisturising. And these two @skintificofficial Skintific are the third Retinol products I've ever used.
This is my first impression on @skintificofficial Retinol products, having only used three times in one week. Both were used in the same night routine, no sandwich method was implented and the following day I had neither dryness nor itchiness.
Both products not irritate my skin even when they contain 1% encapsulated retinol. In fact, my skin was incredibly soft, moisturized & smooth when I awoke. My skin tone also appears more radiant. I noticed my pustule acne subsides faster (I also used tea tree oil to reduce the imflammation).
I would suggest these 2 retinol products from Skintific if you are a beginner or want to step up your retinol game. If you've never used retinol before, start by using one product at a time once a week.
