This Hanskin Vitamin C serum is is a light champagne color, which indicates that it's still fresh. With age, it will eventually turn orange or brown. It absorbs well and doesn't leave a sticky residue. It is packaged in an opaque white bottle, which is good because Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid is unstable, and deteriorates and becomes less effective with exposure to both light and air/oxygen. It's dispensed with an eyedropper, which is pretty good, although a pump dispenser would have been even better, since reducing air exposure keeps the product fresh for longer. Vitamin C is excellent for skincare because it's a potent antioxidant, and has brightening effects because it stimulates collagen production. There's also niacinamide at the end of the ingredient list, and it also brightens skin and encourages cell turnover/renewal. On the potential drawback side, the ingredients also contain grapefruit peel oil, which gives the serum a citrus scent. However, citrus oils are often irritating for those with sensitive skin. It's made in Korea. The full ingredient list actually printed on the box
This was not sponsored or gifted, I have purchased it online hence the price must be reduced, feels quite expensive for this product.
