Definitely does plump and moisturize to say the least. I bought it because I'm a smoker and saw subtle lightening to the dark spots on my lips.

The burn is there, and lasts. If you don't use plumpers don't use this.

@ginggy: for short term plumping, it gives results but nothing long term. It's also a bit on the sticky side imo.
