I’ve always had very dry lips ever since i was young but never thought much about it until i went to switzerland during winter, and i realized that drinking lots of water is not enough to keep my lips hydrated/moist 🥲ever since then, i’ve been on the hunt for lip balms to cure my dry af lips (that became even drier/cracked when i came home from switzerland 🥲)
I’ve heard of the brand nuxe before but mostly for their hair oil, so i didn’t think of trying their lip balms. Saw this on sale and thought i’d give it a try. I debated between getting this one (for dry & damaged lips) or the brown-ish red capped one (for very dry lips), and ended up getting this one bcs I think my lips’ beyond just ‘very dry’ 🥲
- ingredient: star ingredients include honey, beeswax, shea butter, organic sunflower oil, & organic camelina oil. I definitely feel the combined moisturizing & nourishing effects they claimed!
- texture: buttery smooth & it smells lovely! with the amount of essential oils in its ingredients list, im surprised that it doesnt feel oily or sticky
- result: very moisturizing, my lips feel plumpy 😭a few swipes on my lips before i sleep & it still feels moist when i wake up.
I’ve been using this for 4 months now & absolutely love it, it’s my favorite!
