**Holy Grail Alert**
In short, this essence(serum) is my top pick for the brightening category for obvious reason. I observed changes within a day of application!
How it feels?
It has an oily consistency, and has a citrusy scent. However, it's very lightweight on my skin, and absorbs immediately into the skin! I do not need to wait for next application of products in my routine. During my first application, I noticed some stinging on region of application as it is a more concentrated serum. It doesn't left my skin feeling oily at all! No irritation and no redness.
What's the results?
During my first few applications, I noticed it helped my nose to prevent the sebaceous filaments to turn black or brown due to oxidation. Also, this product is great to prevent oxidation of a foundation if you were to apply this essence under it. The most important skin changes I had observed is skin brightenning!! I am always amazed by how it helps my dull skin so effectively! I found that my acne scars faded slightly with the use of this. Unfortunately, I do not have a before and after image as I didn't expect any results with this. This product has successfully won me over my Tiam b3 source!
What's the best past?
The formulation is well designed, and I could finally understand the hype for this! It contains 3 types of vitamin C derivatives which includes ascorbyl glucoside, 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid and ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate! All of these are found in more expensive vitamin C products, due to its efficiency. I learned from labmuffin that, this particular product has great packaging that prevent oxidation of product, hence extending the period of use of this product. Aside from that, I experienced great results of skin brightenning and antioxidant which really surprised me! For someone with oily skin, the extra sebums production is the main reason for skin dullness, and this product has been effective on this issue! I couldn't praise this essence enough, and excited to share this to all!
The only issue I have with this product is the directions of usage are different for both languages printed on the box. The japanese directions listed to use only 4-5 drops once daily, while the English directions encouraged twice a day of usage. P
