actually very impressed w this cream - i received a sample from sephora a few months ago and was shocked by how well the waxy texture spread over my skin and absorbed. the cream is a bit heavier feeling but it’s also very matte, is unscented, doesn’t pill or feel greasy, and hasn’t provoked any sensitivity/acne issues. it’s a great pick for dry winter weather, and i love that it’s geared towards protecting the skin barrier. it’s actually shown me that the zones on my face that i thought were oily were actually just the result of the previous moisturizer i’ve used for years was causing the excess oil - mindblowing. i was lucky to find one at my local winners as i wasn’t sure about purchasing it full price after the sample size but now i’ll buy it again for next winter!
i’ve heard this product has been reformulated recently - i have the old version and have tried the new version which seems to be very similar, but be warned if you need to check the new ingredients for allergens.
