My experience:
I applied it to damp hair because it retains more moisture and adds softness and shine. Argan oil has a very good water-holding potential and oil application to dump hair may increase its elasticity. It must be applied carefully, a very small amount otherwise it will look oily, at least on my thin hair. I apllied oil mainly from the mid-length of the hair to the ends.
I also tried applying it to dry hair as well and it gave it a smoother look, but it is more effective on wet hair. As a result it reduces hair frizz so my hair looks shinier.
