This is a bit different than your usual charcoal mask; it doesn't fully dry so it can be a bit harder to get it all off, especially gently. Reminds me of a mix between a mud and charcoal mask. If you mixed Juice beauty bamboo pore refining mask and innisfree volcanic pore clearing cluster mask, I feel like youd get this texture.
Because its hard to get off I tend to reach for my other Masks more than this one but it really does help with oil over-production and acne!
I apply this mask after removing all my makeup, cleansing my Face, and toning. I leave it on 8-10 minutes then splash water on my face trying to dampen it as that always works for most other Masks. Im not sure whether it helps remove this but luke warm water definitely does help losen it and remove a bit easier.
Unlike usual masks it has never over dried my face (maybe because it doesn't fully dry?) and it heels to really calm angry breakouts!
It is worth using in the shower to make life easier because it doesn't need to dry like other Clay, charcoal, or mud Masks (which wouldn't work the same because of the shower's steam). If you can keep the water away from your face, try this in the shower.
