THE FACE SHOP Vitamin Brightening Serum | 30ml [Product Review]
"I received this product for free from @go.picky @pickyrewards and @thefaceshopmalaysia in exchange for my honest review."
The Vitamin Brightening Serum emphasizes brightening, moisturizing, and anti-aging with THE FACE SHOP's exclusive Vital Vita Solution technology—98% vitamins (C, B3, B5). Vitamin C brightens skin tone, reduces dullness, and fades imperfections. The formula also includes natural hyaluronic acid for added hydration.
As this brightening serum does not use pure Vitamin C, there is no risk of oxidation. I must commend its pump head packaging, which is more convenient and hygienic compared to dropper-style packaging. Its lightweight texture is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving a sticky feeling, making it suitable for combination or oily skin. However, due to its moderately hydrating nature, individuals with dry skin may find it somewhat insufficient.
During the one-week trial period, I used this serum both morning and night without experiencing any discomfort or irritation. While there was a slight improvement in redness and some pimples, the brightening and anti-aging effects are not yet apparent. If used during the day, it is recommended to follow up with proper sun protection.
Furthermore, I must caution that this serum contains up to eight fragrance ingredients, primarily derived from citrus essential oils. However, it also includes fragrance components such as Limonene, Linalool, and Citral, which I personally dislike and find irritating. Therefore, I do not recommend it for sensitive skin.
Overall, this is not the most effective Vitamin Brightening Serum I have used, and its pricing is relatively high. If you are seeking a non-pure Vitamin C serum, I would recommend the Jumiso All Day Vitamin Brightening & Balancing Facial Serum for its affordability and significant results.

The effect is not obvious, the price is expensive, and it contains as many as eight kinds of fragrances, three of which are allergenic fragrances: Limonene, Linalool and Citral.
