I was super excited to try out this serum once I saw the ingredients list! When vitamin C is combined with both vitamin E & ferulic acid, they work synergistically, enhancing each other's effectiveness & becoming a very potent source of antioxidants.
The texture of this serum was very interesting to me. Initially it felt like a very thick cream, but upon contact with my skin, it seemed to melt into it and spread much easier than anticipated. It has a slightly oily residue that eventually absorbs after a little while. My skin hasn't reacted to the high concentration of vitamin C at all thankfully! This is my first time trying a vitamin C product with this combination of ingredients, so I'm very excited to see where my skin is at in a couple of months of consistent use
I took one star off because it does feel a bit heavy on the skin, especially if you use too much at once. That being said, this is a high concentration of vitamin C, so I don't expect it to be super lightweight!
