Introducing “Soothing & Barrier Support Serum” by the ordinary ✨🩷
This serum immediately caught my eye with its pink color and I was so determined to try it. I was very intrigued with the fact that a pink colored serum will help reduce redness and soothe the skin.
—>Here is why:
The pink color of the serum is due to Cyanocobalamin, a form of Vitamin B12. While it may seem odd, the presence of this compound doesn’t necessarily cause redness nor irritation. Instead, Vitamin B12, in this particular form, is included in skincare in order to alleviate redness and dryness.🌟💕
This serum does have though many other active ingredients, such as Gallic Acid Derivatives, Bisabolol, and Centella Asiatica Phytotechnologies, which are specifically designed to soothe and calm irritated skin.
My experience:
It has a unique texture, it is very watery but dense at the same time. It spreads nicely on the skin with gentle massage leaving a thin pink hue that goes away after 1-2 minutes.
I like using this the morning after my night retinol routine where my skin is a bit dehydrated and irritated.🫣My skin after each use feels more radiant, soothed and definitely smoother.✨My complexion definitely improved and the hydration it provided lasted for a long time throughout the day.
I love its clean, acne-safe ingredient list, it does not contain any pore clogging ingredients.
✅It is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
