🍋Anua Green Lemon Vita C Blemish Serum
I just ventured into vitamin C serum recently to tackle my freckles and sun spots and this one from my favourite brand @anua.skincare came under my attention.
🌿Functions/Ingredients:
- vitamin C serum made of 560Kppm of green lemon extract and 200Kppm of vitamin C
- helps to brighten the skin, provides anti-oxidizing benefits and fade dark spots
- works together with sunscreen to protect skin against UV damage
- also contains panthenol, glutathione and bisabolol for extra skin brightening and soothing effects
🍋Packaging/Texture/Scent:
- comes in opaque and airtight dropper bottle to prevent oxidation
- oil serum type consistency with a sharp yellow colour
- strong metallic scent that's typical for vitamin C products
- doesn't feel tacky or sticky if you massage it all over your face RIGHT AFTER applying (recommended to apply on DRY face for best result); it will become sticky if you wait too long before spreading it out
- short shelf life of 3 months after opening
- needs to be stored in fridge (3-10 degree celcius) after opening
🌿Results:
- visible skin brightening effect
- potent but non-irritating (#Goodal VC Serum irritates my skin everytime I am applying)
- visible reduction in dark spots
- skin is fairer and lighter toned
🍋Conclusion/Should you try it?:
✅✅ if you're results-driven (this effectively brighten up skin tone and fade dark spots)
✅ if you find other vitamin C to be too strong/irritating (this is gentle enough imo)
Cons:
❌ slightly on the pricier side
❌ short shelf life
❌ Trouble of storing and taking in and out of fridge
Personally, I really enjoy using this vitamin C serum. The results have been good so far and I've no complaint. However, I am not gonna repurchase as I prefer vitamin C serum with longer shelf life and doesnt require refrigeration.
