What is Dragon's Blood?
Dracaena cinnabari, also known as the dragon tree, is native to the Socotra islands and South America. Dragon’s blood gets its name from the deep red sap it produces. Dragon’s blood has anti-bacterial properties that help in treating acne by clearing bacteria and infection from the pores. Its moisturising properties soothe irritable skin. This product also contains Encapsulated Prebiotic Botanical Extract Complex thus it has liitle white like particles inside. The serum itself has a viscous gel like texture, initially tacky at first when applied but it absorbs pretty well within few seconds. To be honest I really don't like it's packaging, it comes with glass vial with a plastic nozzle and a cap. As for the claims and efficacy of the product yes it does alleviate some of my pimples, as for acne marks I'm really not sure.
I really don't like the packaging, such a let down in my opinion. For this type of viscous serum I think pump packaging suit this best. Also I'm not impressed as to what they claimed that it'll fade marks within a week of use. I mean hello even a Vitamin C serum can't do that within a week of use. I think the claim was too gimmicky, I'm not even sure if it did helped me with my post acne marks, the price is a bit steep in my opinion as well. Like I would rather get a Vitamin C, Niacinamide or Azaleic Acid if I really want to fade my hyperpigmentations. Unfortunately it's a so-so product for me, not my cup of tea. Of course your mileage may vary.
