When I’m in need of a deep skin detox, I usually look for a mask that will unclog my pores and soothe any inflammation I may be experiencing. This mask has exceeded my expectations! When I first took a bit of the mask out it had a jelly - like consistency and smelled very earthly. I decided to smooth it in a ceramic bowl to it a creamy consistency. The mask spreads very well and has great coverage after stirring it a bit. I applied one layer to my entire face and allowed it to sit and dry for about 15 to 20 minutes. It didn’t feel extremely drying like bentonite clay mask usually feels, instead it felt refreshing and moisturizing. When I put a bit of water on my hands to start rinsing the mask it transformed into a milky cleanser. My skin not only looked refreshed, brighter and clear but it also felt cleaner, smoother in texture, vibrant. I will continue to use this mask weekly to get the best results but so far I’m very pleased with how it’s improved my skin.
