Sun filters used: octinoxate, octisalate, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide have low safety profiles.
Cautious: octinoxate may produce estrogenic effect and is not reef safe whereas zinc oxide and titanium dioxide may leave white cast on skin
Characteristics:
- creamy lotion consistency
- not easy to blend evenly
- leaves a slight white cast on skin
- a bit drying/cakey for my normal/combo skin
- mildly fragranced
I am not sure why this is ranked the top 3 sunscreen in Olive Young as it leaves white cast and is quite drying in my opinion but this sunscreen does remind me of many sunscreens I used in those days (5-10 years ago) so maybe that's why many people prefer this type of sunscreen over the gel-type, pure chemical one?? Anyhow, not a repurchase for me.
