The texture is creamy, smooth & light weight. It is easy to apply & does not feel sticky and greasy. It dries down to a semi-matte finish with a sheen powdery feel. It has a mild floral scent. The whitecast is noticeable upon application! The sunscreen does give a slight brightening effect, so it is good for those seeking a natural tone-up effect gentle & mild with no irritation on my sensitive dry skin.
