This cleanser has tiny micro exfoliants that you can barely feel. I would describe the texture as quite thick (see photo). I do enjoy a nice heavy duty cleanser first thing in the morning as I believe that it makes your face feel like a clean canvas for the days makeup.
You will need about three to four pumps to thoroughly clean your face and neck. This will provide you with a good deal of lather. It does take a bit to get off all the cleanser sufficiently. I would suggest 4-5 good rinses with your washcloth.
My face did feel nicely cleansed, and there was a very slight fresh scent that dissipated quickly. Unfortunately, my face felt tight and not very hydrated. I believe this skincare product is better suited to someone with normal or oily skin.
